Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Jako has a passion for entrepreneurship, having bought or started and successfully grown a number of businesses.

He got the idea for Medi Practice while working as a business consultant. Initially a side project, it has grown exponentially into a thriving enterprise which provides bespoke medical billing services to clients across South Africa as well as in neighbouring countries.

Jako holds a BCom degree in Accounting from the University of Pretoria and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch. With his team of professionals at Medi Practice, he takes pride in putting this wealth of business knowledge and practical experience - with a particular focus on process design and implementation - to work building clients’ businesses.

An avid gardener, art collector and wine connoisseur, Jako spends much of his free time with his family and “a lot of dogs” at their home in the Karoo.
